With over 15 years under her belt, Laura Mentekidis manages and oversees the company’s direct response television competencies.
A self-described multitasker, Laura is always finding new ways to develop and grow the direct-response capabilities ICON offers its clients. She uses her strengths in negotiating, mentoring and management, along with her well established relationships within the industry to secure advantageous pricing which has contributed to the success and growth of the department.
Most People Don’t Know That… Mentekidis is a certified personal trainer.
Prior to joining ICON in 2008, she honed her media buying and planning skills at direct-response agencies such as ID Media, OMD and Lockard & Wechsler on major national accounts, including Verizon, Bristol Meyers, NY Times, Dannon, E-surance, Fidelity and Reckitt Benckiser.
Laura, an east coast native, graduated with an associate’s degree from SUNY Cobleskill and a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration of marketing from Pace University.
