Nick Dafcik
Vice President, Business Development
Nick Dafcik is a career-long ICON professional, whose career took a creative turn mid-path. During college, Nick worked multiple stints as an intern, first in the Local Broadcast Media Department, and later as a Business Analyst in ICON’s IT Department. Nick continued with ICON as he completed his MBA.
MBA in hand, Nick took a full-time role as New Business Director in Sales. After a year, lifelong friends who’d moved to California to work in the music industry called suggesting Nick – who shares a passion for music – join them staging industry trade shows. His departure came as a surprise to management, but Nick had to give it a shot.
Most People Don’t Know That… Dafcik spends his time outside of work producing music, camping and photgraphing nature.
Then Covid hit and shuttered his work. Eager to take him back, Nick rejoined ICON in his same role. By May 2022, he was named Vice President, Business Development. Today, he’s tapping into his creativity to help address clients’ asset challenges and make them profitable. “That speaks to me.”
Nick received his MBA from Quinnipiac University. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Media Studies from Quinnipiac University as well.
